The successful candidate will support the mechanical engineering or operations team by coordinating projects, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. This role is integral to maintaining efficiency and supporting technical operations in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of mechanical projects
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, and expense tracking
- Liaise between engineering teams and other departments to facilitate smooth communication
- Support the preparation of technical proposals , and presentations
- Track and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials
- Schedule and document equipment inspections and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Diploma in mechanical engineering, business administration, or a related field is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role, preferably within the mechanical or engineering industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. (Microsoft Projects)
